- To manage billing and our client relationship, performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting).
- Analytics, to understand and improve the site. Lawful basis: your consent (set via our cookie banner).

4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work, and, only with your consent, analytics and functional cookies. We do not run advertising or conversion tracking on this site. You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in our footer. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
One measurement tool runs without asking, and it is worth saying which and why. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and how quickly pages load, for everybody. It sets no cookie and stores nothing at all on your device, so there is nothing for you to consent to being stored, and it is not part of the cookie banner. It tells us how many people visited a page, roughly which country they were in, what kind of device they used and how fast the page was. It cannot follow you between visits, it cannot follow you to another website, and it never sees your name or anything you type. Your IP address is used to work out the country and is not kept. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: knowing how many people read the site, and whether it is fast enough, without tracking anybody to find out. Everything else that measures anything here waits for your consent.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with trusted service providers (processors) who help us run our business, each bound to process it only on our instructions:
- Google (Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager), website analytics and tag management, where you have consented.
- Cloudflare, website hosting, security, and cookieless web analytics that counts visits and page speed for every visitor.
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our CRM, booking and messaging platform used to handle enquiries and bookings.
- Stripe, secure payment processing for client subscriptions.
- Resend, delivery of transactional and notification email, including enquiry alerts sent to us.
- Twilio, delivery of SMS alerts to us when a new enquiry arrives.
- Anthropic, analysis of publicly available website data for our free website audit. We do not send your name, email address or phone number to this service.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to our accountant, or to a professional adviser we instruct on a specific matter, such as a solicitor or an insurer. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards. In practice we rely on one of two things for every provider named above: the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where that provider is certified under it, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which is included in that provider’s standard data processing terms. If you want to know which of the two applies to a particular provider, ask us and we will tell you.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above.
- Enquiry data where you do not become a client: 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Client and billing records: 6 years after the end of our working relationship, because HMRC requires business and tax records to be kept for six years.
- Free website audit records: 12 months from the date of the audit, then deleted.
- Analytics data: 14 months, the retention period set on our Google Analytics property.
- Your cookie choice: stored on your own device until you change it or clear your browser storage. We never receive a copy.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect processing done before withdrawal).
